Introduction of alumina hollow ball:

The alumina hollow sphere is placed in the three phase electric arc furnace with Al2O3 content of more than 98% of the alumina. The liquid alumina is compressed into compressed air to form hollow spheres, and alumina hollow spheres are obtained.

 

The production process of alumina hollow ball:

Before the alumina hollow ball is produced, the electrode is placed at the place where the graphite crucible is connected to the bottom of the graphite crucible first. After adding a proper amount of the industrial aluminum oxide powder, the arc can be started. The operation current is 1.0kA and the voltage is 80~100V. After the arc is started, with the melting of Al2O3, the material is gradually added until the material in the graphite crucible is filled, and the temperature of the liquid is at 2200~2300 C. After that, the crucible is dumped and the solution flows out. The air compressor is opened and the liquid is blown away with compressed air. The angle between the compressed air nozzle and the liquid is suitable for 60~70 degrees, and the Al2O3 liquid that is blown away will wrap the air, and the cooling and solidification will become a hollow ball. Collect the ball that is blown, by refining, sieving. It is the finished product of alumina hollow ball.

Alumina hollow ball refractory bricks can be used in high temperature and energy saving (> 30%) inverted flame kiln, shuttle kiln, molybdenum wire furnace, tungsten rod furnace, induction furnace, nitriding furnace and so on. For reducing the weight of the furnace body, reforming the structure, saving materials and saving energy, the energy saving is as high as 40%, all of which have achieved obvious effect.

Alumina hollow spheres have been widely applied in petrochemical industry gasifier, carbon black industrial reaction furnace, metallurgical industry induction furnace and other high temperature and ultrahigh temperature kilns, and achieved satisfactory results in energy saving.
